You will be able to design and develop a GIS database and project using various data sources, prepare basic spatial analysis, develop detailed maps for production, and document your work.
You will have ample opportunity to experience GIS through hands-on learning in a computer lab using the latest software.
Recommended Prep: Computer literacy on a PC and a willingness to learn. Experience in CAD, database use and design, and graphics production helpful but not required.
